
Cheryl Cutliffe joined Basham & Scott, LLC in 2013 and focuses her practice on insurance subrogation and personal injury litigation. She brings to the firm over 25 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, followed by almost ten years serving as Executive Director of the Maine Board of Bar Examiners. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Public Administration from the University of Maine at Augusta, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law.
Cheryl was admitted to the Maine bar in 2013 and to the United States District Court for the District of Maine in 2016. She is an active member of the Maine State Bar Association and represented the New Lawyers Section on the Board of Governors in 2014 and 2015. She previously sat on the Board of Governors of the New England Bar Association. Cheryl is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Cheryl has been recognized as a New England Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a division of Thomson Reuters, in each of the past four years, 2016-2019.
