Sarah Haddad – Litigation Attorney

Sarah Haddad joined Basham & Scott in 2024 and is admitted to the New York State bar as well as the federal courts of the second circuit:  the US Eastern District of New York, the US Southern District of New York, and the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.  Sarah is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and is pending admission to the Maine State bar.  She graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2018 and the University of Technology, Sydney, in 2008.  Sarah started her career as an Australian Barrister at Law, which is an independent specialist advocate trained in the courtroom, in commissions of inquiry, and in alternative forms of dispute resolution; where she provided objective advice on particular legal problems for clients, other lawyers, businesses, and governments.

Prior to joining Basham & Scott she was a commercial litigator and hearing officer in New York City in Breach of Contract claims, Insurance Law coverage disputes, Intellectual Property Law, Administrative Law disputes, and Medical Appeals.  Sarah majored in Pharmacology and Physiology in a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney in 2005.   Outside of practicing law, she is a music composer, artist, violinist, and singer.
