Michael Carrington – Director of Business Operations
Michael graduated from The University of Maine Business School in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing. Over the next 14 years as a leader Michael gained many valuable skills working with organizations including: Dale Carnegie Training, Target, The Paper Store and Petco.
With a strong and varied background in business development, strategic operations, and leadership skills Michael has successfully run many profitable businesses. In his free time Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy, his two children Riley and Callie, and his pets. He is an avid learner and is always working to further develop his skills.
Michael’s personal mission statement reads as such:
My mission in life is to continue to mentor and coach others, with a focus on further developing communication skills, personally and in the professional marketplace. As I continue to build my skills and influence it is my responsibility to treat others as they would like to be treated, to be thoughtful and sincere, to be ethical and make morally sound decisions, and to give back to the surrounding communities whether it is with my time, money, intellectual knowledge, or other resources. As an optimist I find passion in all that I do. I believe that we should all work hard, find enjoyment in our vocation, and participate in work that matters. I will continue to push myself outside my comfort zone to learn new skills and find balance in the key areas of life that matter most. These experiences and “aha” moments are to be shared with those around me.
